The director of our Childcare Program is certified in Early Childhood Education as well as Elementary Education.
Trinity teachers meet the Michigan licensing guidelines and standard of quality for teachers of young children. They are certified in CPR & First Aid. Teachers attend ongoing professional development training each year to keep their classroom practices up-to-date.
Nicole Anderson, Childcare Director
Nicole was hired in April 2015. She holds a BS in elementary education with an early childhood endorsement and also obtained a degree in childcare administration and is a certified food service manager. She lives in Hurley with her husband and 2 boys.
Emily has been with trinity for 1 year. She is currently in college working toward a degree in middle school education. She enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with family.
Jessica is taking classes in early childhood education. She has been with Trinity for almost 2 years. Her hobbies include short fiction writing, crochet, and target archery.
Rebecca has been with Trinity for 17 years. In her free time, she volunteers at an area nursing home and enjoys walking.
Leigh was hired in 2015. She holds an associates degree in accounting and is currently working toward her CDA in infant/toddler care. She is a mother of 2 teenage boys and vice president of the Ironwood Schools booster club. She enjoys crocheting and scrapbooking.
Debbie started working at Trinity in 2015. She is a single mom to an amazing 7yr old boy and super cute and sassy 3 yr old girl. She loves working in the baby room and is so happy to be part of the Trinity Childcare family.
Megan started at Trinity in 1999. She enjoys kayaking in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter months.
Ruth has been at Trinity for over 5yrs. She has a BS in Home Economics Education and enjoys gardening, reading, and sewing in her spare time.
Michaela started working at Trinity in the summer of 2017. She started bowling at age 4, been in leagues ever since and enjoys baking and going to the races in Ashland, WI.
