The infant program at trinity sets its pace around the needs and unique differences of each child. The infants have a primary caregiver who centers her day around the schedules of those for who she cares. This care, while meeting basic needs for food, diapering and napping goes beyond by planning enhanced interaction and activities to meet the individual infant’s needs. Cuddle time is a must in this room and our caregivers are more than happy to do just that!
In providing a program for toddlers, our teachers understand that these children learn with their whole bodies. They learn more by doing than by being told. Toddlers are active explorers discovering their world on a physical level. Expectations for behavior are developmentally appropriate and allow the child to be challenged yet feel support from the teacher. It may look messy and chaotic but there is important lessons being learned!
